We don’t do a four month long web design process here. And to make a two or four week design process possible there is one thing you need to know… Preparation! Before I start working on your website I will need ALL the content. Yes, all of it. That means any text, images, products, pages, etc.
I suggest booking your design date enough in advance that you can make sure you get all your information and content is prepared BEFORE your design start date.
“But what if I need to change or edit something?” you might ask. Yes, you can make edits! I will have a Google Drive folder where you put all the content, so if something needs changed or edited, just make those changes in the appropriate document in the folder and I will update the website while I am working on the design. Or, you can take advantage of the review and edit rounds in the second half of the design process to make edits and changes.
The main thing is that if you ask me “hey, can you add another page for ___” 2 days before your site is supposed to launch, chances are it can’t be finished in time for your scheduled launch date.
Now, if there’s a page or content you want added to the website after your website is launched, I am more than happy to help you with this! You can get on my calendar for hourly website updates/management. Check out the FAQ section on updates & edits :)

This is a two week website process (four for the Platinum Package)!
Before your design start date I will give you some ‘homework’ to complete before we start working on your website. The homework is crucial, because that is what allows me to actually design a website in two weeks and it helps me get to know you, your business, and your customers before I even start designing. This process really centers the website design around each business as an individual, and makes the site customer-focused. I’m not just designing any ol’ website, I’m designing for YOUR customers.
During the first design week, I will do all the basics for the website and fully design the home page. I start with the home page because it’s like the front door to your business - the first thing your customers see. If I nail the homepage and you love it, the rest of the website easily follows.
The second week is all in the details. I’ll finish out the rest of the website so you can review it as a whole. This week is dedicated to your feedback and me implementing that feedback. It’s your time to tell me anything you love or hate, and request any changes. I’ll also use this time to test functionality, finish style tweaks, and polish the design.
Then it’s launch time baby! On the Friday of the second week, after you pay your final invoice, I will transfer website ownership over to you and we share you brand new website with the world!
Note for Platinum Package - the design process will follow this as well, I leave the following two weeks for working on the ‘extras’ that are included in this package, setting up integrations, and testing everything to make sure all those bells and whistles are properly working.

Yes, I work on a payment plan! I do 20%, 30%, and 50% payments. Let me explain how this works:
The first 20% payment is due when you book ($500 for the Design Package). It’s basically a booking deposit and saves your spot on my calendar.
The second payment, 30% ($750 for Design Package) is due on your design start date. This must be paid before I start working on your website.
The final 50% payment ($1,250 for Design Package) is due on your launch date. Again, this must be paid before I transfer website ownership over to you and before your website is launched.
Don’t want to sit around and wait to receive the invoice to stay on time with the design process? Neither would I! You have the option to save your billing info when you pay the first deposit invoice and you can be automatically billed without having to go in and manually pay each invoice.
If you’re one of those people that don’t like doing payment plans (I’m like that too) you can pay in full as well. Just email me and let me know, and I will send you an invoice for the full payment. You will automatically be enrolled in the payment plan so please be sure to inform me when you book that you’d like to pay in full.

To be fair to you, and every other client in the design calendar, I stick firmly to my design schedule. All my clients would be upset if I pushed back their design date because a client earlier in the schedule wasn’t ready.
If you’re worried you won’t be able to meet the content deadlines, send me an email (peyton@soulmana.co) and I’ll let you know the next available date in my design calendar.
Please note, 6 business days or later after booking, there are financial repercussions to changing your design date.
Your 20% deposit holds your place in the design calendar, and that spot is no longer available to be booked by anyone else. If you change your design date within 5 business days of booking your spot, your deposit will be used to hold your new date in the design calendar.
If you change your design date 6 business days or later after booking, your deposit cannot be used towards another design date and will not be refunded.

Yes! I do not have a set package (yet) but they typically range from $800-$1,500 depending on what needs done; whether it's just the look of the website or you need a total overhaul on the backend (product/collection organization). Reach out to me and let me know what you’re looking for, along with a link to your current website to receive a quote. The timeline for these run a little different than new website builds and I will typically work on redesigns in the second and fourth weeks of the month. Contact me for quote and availability.

Canva - my favorite, easy to use design software. They offer a free version which is great for basic use. If you want to use Canva for creating social media content or plan to use it frequently, I recommend their Pro plan. I use Canva ALLL the time for everything and I use it to create almost all of my social media posts. They also have great templates which makes it super easy and less time consuming to create content.
